Sh. Vinod Kumar Singh is Director (Personnel) on POWERGRID Board. Sh. Singh started professional career in 1985 with US MNC followed by NHPC and then joined POWERGRID in 1991. He has been a part of exponential growth of POWERGRID . Sh. Singh has worked in all facets of HR including Amalgamation, Turn around, Learning & Development & Culture Building which gave him exposure to entire gamut of company business.

Sh. Singh holds a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Management from Xavier Institute of Social Services (XISS), Ranchi. Prior to his appointment to this role , he was handling flagship projects such as Capacity Building, restructuring policies & procedures for NER States, strategic alliances etc. 

Sh. Singh has been instrumental in implementing innovative HR , Learning & Development interventions which lead to empowerment & organisational growth. Sh. Singh has been a business enabler & strived to make POWERGRID the best working place. He has played a key role in nurturing the fresh talent and preparing them for business challenges & opportunities. He holds deep expertise in strategic alliances pertaining to Learning & Development for employees as well as external customers.

Sh. Singh was integral part of HR at the time of formation of POWERGRID and facilitated successful amalgamation of the diverse cultures, skill sets, expectations, policies and processes, into a single coherent entity. Sh. Singh is also elected as Executive Member of SCOPE , a common platform of CPSEs, focusing to collaborate , highlight , brainstorm and resolve macro level issues etc. pertaining to CPSEs

Sh.
