A former L & D head with 3 large organisations Sunitas journey started when she learnt Indian classical violin from her mother and then gradually started music as an enrichment tool and finally as medoum of Leadership & Change. Her music therapy workshops for more than 20,000 less privileged children across India has gotten her a recognition from the Pope at the Vatican . And finally she is the first violinist in India to play Assamese folk on the hitherto classical instrument violin and fuse it with Scottish & Irish folk .
Sunita & her son Ronojit Bhuyan have been actively engaging and spreading positivity via music from their home during the lockdown, and were the the first to do a balcony concert as a tribute to Corona fighters
Her son Ronojit Bhuya is a western classical pianist & shall accompany her as thankfully mother and son are both locked down at home together
Ronojit is an advanced level western classical pianist and is training under world class Maestros Pervez Mody of Germany & Niel Nongkenreih Director of the Shillong Choir
