Global Head Leadership Development ,Genpact 

Founding Chief People Officer, Exl Services

In Cognizant she started as the CHRO for their BPS arm, leading 50,000 + employees in multiple geographies. Subsequently moving to a global role covering 250000+ employees .

She was amongst the pioneering HR leaders, who shaped the people practices in the Back Office Industry She is an award winning learning designer and an Executive Coach for the CXO suite . 

She has been a champion for Diversity & Inclusion throughout her career, and has designed and facilitated first of its kind Diversity workshops with leading universities of India. She led diversity for the 200K employees of Cognizant India, steering them to Industry recognition and awards 

Smriti is regularly invited to talk at national and Industry forums on a wide range of topics including HR Transformation, Effective Leadership, Diversity, Motivation & Purpose of ‘Being

Over the years Smriti has supported social causes by contributing her time as a teacher to special needs and underprivileged children . She has lived and worked with rural communities to better understand their challenges.
